In this video Kelly Starrett (of MobilityWOD) and author of ‘Becoming a Supple Leopard’) interviews Gary Reinl (Author of ‘ICED! The Illusionary Treatment Option’)

Thanks to trainers like these and Doctors like Gabe Mirkin, (who originally came up with the acronym RICE and advocated icing for sports injuries – Then recently reversed his position)…

The RICE injury treatment protocol is now finally being reconsidered – And the so-called “common wisdom” of using ice on practically everything that’s injured and/or hurting is now beginning to be rejected by prominent trainers like these and other professionals!

(Especially for mild-to-moderate injuries past the first few hours – If at all – And even more so for chronic, largely degenerative tendon problems, like Golfer’s Elbow and Tennis Elbow.)
